But I think not, because of the "proto-gospel" prophecy, found in Genesis 3:15.<br /><br />Satan had just deceived Eve into eating the forbidden fruit, which brought a curse into the previously-uncursed world. As part of the consequences of these events, God told the serpent: "I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel."<br /><br />If Jesus is this seed, and I believe he is, then he would need to be the seed of the woman. Only if one of Jesus' parents was human would he qualify as the seed of Eve.Kent Westhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04419374220761564120noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14696592.post-83819679377097534822011-03-29T21:50:38.776-05:002011-03-29T21:50:38.776-05:00If God required no seed from a male to conceive Je...If God required no seed from a male to conceive Jesus, maybe He also required no seed from Mary either? God could have created Jesus in Mary's womb without the use of egg or sperm, just as Adam was created without egg or sperm.Sherinoreply@blogger.com
